What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Create innovative research content to assist clients in achieving business outcomes from outsourced IT services
• Provide high-quality, actionable advice through various media, guiding clients in selecting providers for cloud transformation projects
• Advise clients on comprehensive sourcing strategies and lead negotiations for multiyear contracts with cloud service providers
• Support clients in contract management by identifying and addressing contractual risks and optimizing terms
• Monitor market trends in cloud service pricing and contractual terms drive negotiations

What is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, computer science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
• 15+ years of relevant industry experience in sourcing or IT service delivery, with at least three years in IT procurement or strategic sourcing
• Proven track record in negotiating high-value public cloud contracts with hyperscale vendors
• Deep knowledge of public cloud optimization and transformation services, including experience with AWS, Azure, and Oracle
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills to gather and analyze data for insights

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with cloud-native professional and managed services
• Knowledge of Oracle workload expertise (e.g., PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, E-Business Suite)
• Familiarity with data center outsourcing and managed security services
