A global research and advisory company is seeking a Senior Director to lead insights for cloud operations. This role entails producing high-quality research and engaging with clients to address their business needs. The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of experience in cloud architecture, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to create impactful insights. They will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with teams and guiding clients toward successful cloud adoption strategies.
Gartner Analysts are industry thought leaders who create must-have insights, market predictions and best practices for a broad range of world‑leading organizations. A Senior Director serves as a leader within Gartner’s Business and Technology Insights (BTI) group, establishing oneself as a credible voice within their designated market at local, regional and global levels. Utilizing exceptional research and analytical skills, a Senior Director plays a significant role in producing pragmatic and provocative insights which Gartner clients consume and apply to propel their business toward key objectives. They are a trusted source of advice for clients, reinforcing Gartner’s value every day by engaging them via in‑person meetings, virtual meetings, sales support visits and Gartner conferences to discuss complex client challenges and offer appropriate recommendations. This analyst role is part of the Gartner for I&O Technical Professionals team and will have a particular scope of coverage focused on modern IT operations, such as cloud governance, cloud operations, and cloud operating models. You will have some flexibility in your coverage, and we are particularly interested in candidates with cloud architecture, cloud governance, or platform engineering experience. Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 155,200 CAD – 174,600 CAD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role‑based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
