At Tim Hortons, we are dedicated to delivering the highest quality products and exceptional experiences to our customers. Our Supply Chain team plays a crucial role in ensuring the availability of our products across our network of restaurants, and we are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join us as a Senior Analyst, Supply Planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review Inventory Levels: Regularly assess current stock levels for each SKU within the assigned category. Identify potential shortages or excess inventory and collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks.
  • Generate Replenishment Orders: Utilize our advanced planning system, Kinaxis Maestro, to calculate optimal order quantities. Incorporate sales forecasts, lead times, and desired stock levels to maintain efficient inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with Suppliers: Establish and maintain effective communication channels with suppliers. Ensure timely delivery of replenishment orders and promptly resolve any supply-related issues that may arise.
  • Manage Shipments: Monitor incoming shipments to ensure they are on schedule. Proactively address delays or issues during transit to minimize disruptions and maintain smooth operations.
  • Inventory Allocation: Determine the most efficient allocation of inventory across different locations and distribution centers. Minimize stockouts and optimize order fulfillment to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Identify Slow-Moving or Obsolete Inventory: Regularly analyze inventory data to identify slow-moving or obsolete items. Develop strategies to reduce excess stock, prevent financial liabilities, and enhance inventory turnover.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis: Investigate supply chain disruptions, stockouts, or excess inventory instances. Identify underlying causes and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences and improve overall supply chain resilience.
  • Continuous Process Improvement: Evaluate existing replenishment and inventory management processes. Identify opportunities for improvement, including automation, streamlined workflows, and optimized inventory policies.
  • Vendor Payment Discrepancies: Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve quantity discrepancies, ensuring accurate vendor payments and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations, Business, or related field.
  • Experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, or related roles (experience in the food service industry is a plus).
  • Proficiency in using supply chain planning software and tools, including Kinaxis Maestro or similar systems is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
