A regional tourism organization is seeking a Sport Tourism Specialist to enhance the sport tourism sector in Kingston. The successful candidate will build partnerships, coordinate events, and support local organizations in attracting visitors through sporting events. Ideal applicants will have a degree in a related field, at least five years of relevant experience, and strong communication skills. This full-time, on-site role requires flexibility to work outside regular hours and engage deeply with the community.

Tourism Kingston is looking for a motivated and relationship-focused specialist to help grow sport tourism in Kingston. In this role, you’ll work with local organizations and partners to bring sporting events to the city, creating experiences that attract visitors and support the local economy.
Reporting to the Managing Director of Sales, you’ll be involved in sales, community outreach, and event support, including attending meetings and planning sessions. The ideal candidate has knowledge of sport tourism and enjoys building partnerships. You’ll also help prepare bids, find new opportunities, and work with local, provincial, and national sport organizations. Flexibility to attend events outside regular business hours is required.
