A leading aerospace manufacturer in Mirabel is seeking a Supply Chain Quality Specialist. This role includes managing supplier industrial qualifications, eliminating poor quality, and evaluating supplier capabilities. Ideal candidates should have at least 5 years in the industrial field and possess strong project management and negotiation skills. The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for one (1) Supply Chain Quality Specialist to join our ABPIM team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you [example: will work jointly with multiple teams (Eng., method, buyer, supply chain agent) and some colleagues at Airbus team based in Toulouse].
You will be part of the ABPIM team responsible for / developing :
Manage industrial qualification and identify supplier industrial risks
Eliminate poor quality at the supplier level
Evaluate supplier capabilities, skills, and performance and contribute to their development
The team organization is established to promote cross‑collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.
Ensure compliance of the part/site pair in terms of industrial qualification (update of the list of qualified parts)
Provide feedback on suppliers' industrial proposals during the call for tender phase
Serve as the main point of contact with Airbus specialists (Design Office, Materials and Processes) for a given product family

Manage the supplier industrial qualification through APQP methodology for Transfer of Work projects or New Part Introduction
Eradicate non‑quality at supplier: coordinate end‑to‑end dynamic containment with quality conformance teams, challenge supplier root cause analysis and monitor effectiveness of the corrective action
Assess the Supplier capacity, capability & performance and contribute to the Supplier development
Identify the supplier industrial risks and propose mitigation actions
Communicate to Airbus stakeholders (program panel, chief engineer, …) on the progress of investigations and managing impacts in production and in‑service in case of retrofit
Ensure couple part/site compliance on industrial qualification (Qualified Part List status up‑to‑date)
Provide feedback on suppliers industrial offers during Call for Tender phase
Be the main point of contact with Airbus specialists (design office, material & processes) for a given product family
You have proven experience of Project management (team management is a plus)
You have 5 years minimum in the industrial field
You have very good knowledge of Industrial and Aerospace businesses
You have a proven background in Supply‑Chain managing suppliers
Ability to connect to internal customers, listen, demonstrate value proposal
Assertiveness towards suppliers, protecting business interests, while being fair and collaborative
Can do attitude, looking for solutions, bringing people together
English: negotiation level
French: negotiation level
This role may involve some travels for business (worldwide).
Travel Required: Occasional travel within [country] & overseas
Regular business travels will be expected; consequently you must be willing to travel accordingly.
Possible on‑call duties during week‑ends and/or holiday seasons.
