We are looking for an energetic, creative, and enthusiastic Spa Aesthetician / Therapist & to join the Nomi Resort team at its amazing resort club located in the county of Haliburton. This is a great position for a therapist looking to make a significant impact in a growing and dynamic organisation.

Education / Experience Requirements:

• (If you are also licensed in Ontario as an RMT, this would be an advantage)
• Formal past college or university education would be ideal
• Minimum 5 years of experience in providing spa services
• Experienced in body work treatments
• Experienced as a Spa Esthetician
• Medical Aesthetics – Qualifications and experience in laser treatments would be an advantage
• Professional and able to work days and weekends when required

Aesthetician Responsibilities:

• Providing facials, body treatments, and botanical service applications
• Adhering to appointments in a timely manner by monitoring time schedule
• Welcoming clients in a warm, friendly manner, accompanying them to and from treatment rooms, and thanking them sincerely on departure
• Consult with clients to obtain information about contraindications and examining skin to evaluate the suitability of treatments
• Advising clients on skincare and recommending suitable treatments and home care regimens
• Engaging and conversing with clients during sessions on topics relating to their interests
• Maintaining product knowledge to promote and sell spa and salon services, and retail products
• Adhering to aesthetics policies on chemical usage, and cleaning, sanitising, and maintenance of equipment
• Caring for linens and replacing them between sessions.
• Ceasing treatment and informing the supervisor in the event of inappropriate guest behaviour
• This position will require you to administer a variety of spa treatments to our guests according to the protocols and procedures provided by the Nomi Resort Club Spa, attend training sessions on products and services available to our guests, and act as a true team player.

Package on Offer | AS A MEMBER OF NOMI RESORT, YOU WILL RECEIVE:

Full Time | 30-35 hours a week, Thursday to Sunday, with some flex weekday hours.
