Job Description

Sodexo is growing! We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our dynamic team. This position is a full-time role. You will be offered a great team environment, work/life balance and the ability to cook healthy and appealing menus for consumers.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef and team to successfully coordinate – direct all retail food and services.
  • Prepare meals following standardized recipes and according to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and serve meals with attractive and high-quality presentation.
  • Work within a set budget to reduce waste, improve production, safety and sanitation in the food services.
  • Participate in menu planning, estimate quantities and requisition supplies of food.
  • Complete HACCP-related documentation provided by management and any other duties as requested.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years experience in a food service environment and high-volume cooking, as well as catering experience.
  • Maintain the highest standard of sanitation, perform effectively under pressure, and able to anticipate and solve problems.
  • Red Seal is an asset.
