Job description

We are seeking a Solutions Consultant - Mid Market who helps the Intuit QuickBooks Canada LATAM team to define, operationalize, and scale industry-specific solutions across the Intuit platform for the Mid-Market (EMM).

This role is accountable for deeply understanding the common business problems within priority industry verticals and translating those needs into clear, repeatable, and value-driven solution stacks—leveraging QuickBooks, Intuit’s broader platform, and third-party (3P) applications.

As a senior individual contributor within Partner Enablement & Professional Services (PEPS), you will act as the vertical SME, shaping how we sell, enable, and deliver industry solutions across Sales, Partners, and Services. Your work will directly support value-based selling, platform adoption, and ecosystem expansion.

Responsibilities
  • Vertical Strategy & Problem Definition
    • Help building the vertical solution strategy for the top priority industry segments
    • Identify and articulate:
      • Common industry-specific challenges, workflows, and pain points
      • Where the Intuit platform solves natively
      • Where ecosystem (3P) applications are required to complete the solution
    • Translate customer and industry insights into clear Jobs-To-Be-Done (JTBD) for each vertical.
    • Maintain a strong point of view on what “good” looks like for each vertical solution.
  • Platform & Ecosystem Solution Design for Mid-Market
    • Design and define verticalized solution stacks for the Mid market that:
      • Extend QuickBooks beyond its core design
      • Address the full operational, financial, and compliance needs of Mid-Market customers
    • Evaluate, select, and influence the use of 3P applications to ensure:
      • Strong functional coverage
      • Scalability and reliability
      • Alignment with Intuit’s support and delivery models
    • Partner with ecosystem, product, and Service providers teams to ensure solution feasibility and delivery readiness.
  • Support Go-to-Market Enablement & Value-Based Selling
    • Support high-impact, high-visibility engagements where vertical credibility is critical to success, including: Strategic industry events (webinars, in-person events, executive briefings), large or complex Mid-Market sales opportunities and priority implementations or transformation initiatives.
    • Act as a vertical and Mid market subject-matter expert in customer-facing scenarios, providing: Consultative guidance during late-stage sales cycles, validation of proposed solution stacks and implementation approaches and confidence to customers and partners in the recommended platform and ecosystem design.
Qualifications
  • Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • 5–7 years of experience in customer pre- and post sales engineering and implementation, technical support, accounting, consulting or solution delivery.
    • Strong understanding of Mid-Market business operations across multiple industries.
    • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business problems into structured, scalable solutions.
    • Deep familiarity with platform-based solutions and third-party ecosystems.
    • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences. Proven ability to work cross-functionally and lead through influence.
  • Desired Qualifications
    • Experience with QuickBooks Online, QBO Advanced, Payroll, Time, and Intuit’s broader platform.
    • Strong knowledge of third-party application ecosystems (inventory, construction, payroll, reporting, etc.).
    • Background in accounting, bookkeeping, or industry-specific operations.
    • Experience supporting value-based selling motions.
