Qualifications

Role Specifics:
WMS Development & Configuration:
  • Plans, designs, builds, and test WMS solutions using Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Configures new distribution centers and site-specific workflows.
  • Creates WMS processes that improve transparency, governance, and simplicity.
  • Develops complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts.
System Integration & Data Management:
  • Partners with IT teams to integrate WMS with middleware and enterprise applications.
  • Develops reporting solutions using Bartender, SSRS, and Power BI.
  • Maintains WMS data architecture to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  • Executes WMS change management across development, test and production environments.
  • Follows change control and documentation protocols.
  • Supports smooth deployment of releases and enhancements.
Production Support & Troubleshooting:
  • Provides third-level WMS support for outages, failures, and escalated issues.
  • Troubleshoots complex problems, performs rout cause analysis, and implements preventive measures.
  • Supports rapid recovery to minimize operational downtime.
Implementation & Rollout:
  • Supports WMS implementation for new warehouse sites.
  • Leads HyperCare during and after go-live.
  • Coordinates with vendor teams and conduct readiness and post-implementation reviews.
  • Provides guidance, training, and tactical direction to WMS support team members.
  • Cross-trains team members on middleware connectivity for end-to-end troubleshooting.
  • Develops documentation and training materials.
  • Analyzes warehouse operations and identify WMS improvement opportunities.
  • Translates business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Implements enhancements that increase efficiency and reduce cost.
Professional Development & Compliance:
  • Ensures individual person adherence to TireHub policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Participates and maintains ongoing training requirements through in-class, in-person, or computer-based learning modules as assigned.

Education / Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of WMS process flows (picking, packing and replenishment, waving, receiving, put away, and RF technology).
  • Applied experience with Koerber/High Jump is preferred.
  • 3+ years of SQL development experience (code, procedures, tables, views, and extracts).
  • 1+ years of reporting experience using SSRS, Power BI, or similar reporting tools.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • WMS functionality, configuration, and process flows.

  • This is a fast-paced IT and dynamic operating environment.
  • Majority of time is spent sitting, constantly viewing monitors in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move around. There may be occasions to move or lift light articles.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours to accommodate routinely critical system changes.
  • This is a remote position, preferably based in Atlanta GA, with flexibility to report to Headquarters as needed.
  • Must be able to travel up to 10%.

Salary Range: $83,100 - $103,800
