Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Toronto is seeking Site Representatives for multiple projects this spring. The ideal candidates will have a Civil Tech diploma or engineering degree, strong communication skills, and at least three years of experience in construction-related roles. As a Site Representative, you will ensure construction activities meet contract requirements and facilitate project meetings, contributing to the successful execution of infrastructure projects across the Greater Toronto Area.

The Toronto Office has multiple openings for Site Representatives to start this spring. These contract positions are for various projects in the GTA.

Duties:

• Perform site review of construction activities for conformance of the contract documents and drawings.
• Communicate and coordinate with other Project Site Representatives and Construction Administrator or Project Manager.
• Facilitate and participate in project meetings as required.
• Review and process contract extra work claims.
• Prepare and process monthly progress estimates and quantities.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and the public as required.
• Assist in the preparation of contract documents and drawings.
• Adhere to all site safety requirements and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Civil Tech diploma OR an undergraduate degree in Engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution.
• Superior English communication skills both oral and written.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, contract documents, and specifications.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, and related to linear projects including watermains, sewers, roads is a project requirement.
• Contract administrative experience is a strong asset.
• Must have a valid class G driver's license and their own vehicle for transportation between office and assigned work site.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
