A global industrial manufacturer is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Associate in Kingston, Ontario. You will be responsible for building crates for shipment, operating forklifts, and maintaining shipping records. Ideal candidates possess a High School Diploma, computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and requires adherence to safety procedures.
Shipping/Receiving Associate
Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Salary Range: $19/hr.
Fork Truck Certification preferred
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to respond quickly to changing situations based on movements, lights, signals, or speed.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently alternate between sit/stand, and occasionally climb, stoop, kneel, and bend. Specific vision abilities required by this job include depth perception, spatial orientation, close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision. Must be able to manipulate the controls of a machine or vehicle to exact positions continuously and time your movements or the movement of a piece of equipment in anticipation of changes in the speed and/or direction of a moving object or scene.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal to moderate.
