Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior ServiceNow QA/Test Consultant for a contract consulting engagement supporting enterprise ServiceNow initiatives. This role is ideal for professionals who excel at designing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying and resolving defects, and collaborating closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery and continuous improvement.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans and test cases for ServiceNow applications, modules, and integrations
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing to validate platform configurations and customizations
  • Identify, document, and track defects using test management tools, collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution
  • Work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • Validate workflows, business rules, UI policies, and automation scripts within the ServiceNow platform
  • Ensure testing activities follow organizational standards, best practices, and compliance requirements
  • Participate in quality assurance reviews, code reviews, and release management processes
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve platform performance, functionality, and efficiency
  • Document test results, issues, and lessons learned to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 2+ yearsof hands-on experience in QA/testing roles, preferably with ServiceNow applications and integrations
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, workflows, and ITSM frameworks
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, HP ALM, ServiceNow Test Management)
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools and scripting is a plus
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with technical and functional stakeholders
  • ServiceNow certifications (e.g.,Certified System Administrator) are considered an asset
