Job Description

Our Calgary based Client has a net new role open for a Service Delivery Manager to be their Global SAP Security & GRC Lead. High growth potential, initially a manager level that can quickly become a Senior manager promotion for the right candidate who will lead GRC/Security for the Global S4HANA Projects and Support & Sustainment (Operations).

The right candidate needslead Security/GRC experience, project management, excellent planning, senior level communication & coordination skills, and large-scope global program experience. One who sees the ‘big’ picture but also tracks the details. You will not have direct reports but will lead a highly experienced/strong Security team and manage multiple SI vendor partners. Owning and managing the Security Audit both internal and external is an important delivery of this role.

Location: Calgary/Onsite 5 days a week (NOT flexible)

Reporting to: Senior Director, SAP Global Technology & Architecture. You will be primarily responsible for the SAP core GRC and Security functions. This role will be part of the SAP global COE team as the SAP GRC and Security lead. You will work closely with technical resources and project stakeholders in the SAP and connected landscapes. The role involves some SAP technical delivery responsibilities, including small project deliveries in the GRC and Security domain as project manager and managing partner teams. You will include regular hands-on work in SAP security and related areas. You will also manage partner consultants and their deliverables.

Your Skills & Experience

  • SAP Security architect experience with 10+ years of SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC Security experience working in any large enterprise with SAP landscape.
  • SAP Security Level 3 support knowledge.
  • Hands-on SAP Security experience including SAP security, SAP roles design and its management, SAP user administration.
  • Experience in designing, reviewing, and configuring SAP security roles based on SAP best practices and business requirements.
  • Experience in managing partners and their teams in an AMS set-up.
  • Experience in SAP Fiori roles and catalogue design and expertise in reviewing presented designs from partners to identify the gaps and the right solutions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SAP GRC Access Control 10.1.
  • Expertise in SAP Business Role Management (BRM).
  • Significant experience in internal and external SAP audits.
  • Skilled in SAP GRC EAM (Emergency Access Management).
  • Experience in managing SOX, ITGC and ITAC audit requirements, including its investigation and response.
  • Advanced proficiency in catalogue and group creation using Fiori Launchpad.
  • Understand the change and release process within SAP and non-SAP ERPs.
  • Experience working within a 24x7 global team environment, employing an Application Managed Service (AMS) on-shore/off-shore delivery model.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of effective interaction across all organizational levels.
  • Expert proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Project, and Visio.
  • Knowledge of project management is essential.
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with ServiceNow.
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of SailPoint Integration with GRC.
  • Nice to have: Understanding of ITIL best practices.
  • Nice to have: Certified SAP Security Architect.
  • Nice to have: Experience in SAP Security implementation projects and working in Global SAP consulting companies will be an asset.

The R&R:

  • Provide expertise and guidance to Project and Sustainment teams on security design standards to ensure alignment with leading practices.
  • Review and optimize global security designs across various business functions and geographies.
  • Provide day-to-day support for SAP S/4 Security & SAP GRC operations.
  • Maintain Security process documentation and training materials.
  • Implement User Access Review (UAR) functionality in GRC for the Retail division.
  • Create a strategic 5-year SAP Security & GRC roadmap.
  • Participate in annual Audit reviews and assist with remediating deficiencies.
  • Responsible for delivering project and sustainment activities with quality and on time that apply to SAP Security & GRC.
  • Define, maintain and enforce the Architecture, Framework, Principles, Guidelines and Standards of the Foundation GRC ruleset.
  • Responsible for preparing and delivering SAP technical Security & GRC hypotheses as required.
  • Collaborate with key leads to ensure alignment on security and GRC activities across the SAP landscape and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Lead and participate in critical issues/risks analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with security, SOX, and other applicable policies.
  • Manage and report Security & GRC sustainment team deliverables in a monthly Sprint report.
  • Many of the above responsibilities involve delivery through partners in the engagement; however, a solid understanding of concepts and hands-on experience is desired. Some occasions involve folding sleeves up and taking charge when required.
  • Manage and deal with partner consultants to deliver outcomes and achieve yearly goals.
