Job Description
  • Deliver refined, attentive, and anticipatory service that aligns with O&B standards.
  • Guide guests through the menu with confidence, providing informed recommendations and conveying culinary stories with accuracy and enthusiasm.
  • Maintain exceptional knowledge of food, wine, cocktails, and service techniques, including pairings, tableside practices, and all current menu offerings.
  • Execute service with precision and composure—including table maintenance, pacing, coursing, marking cutlery, and proper mise en place.
  • Build strong rapport with guests, ensuring a personalized and memorable experience with every visit.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with the culinary, bar, and management teams to uphold consistency and flow of service.
  • Anticipate guest needs and resolve issues with poise, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout the dining room.
  • Uphold all company values, policies, and procedures while contributing to a positive, team‑centered culture.
  • Continuously develop product knowledge and stay current on menu changes, seasonal ingredients, and culinary philosophy.
Qualifications
  • At least 5+ years fine dining serving experience in a similar environment.
  • Valid Smart Serve Certification a requirement.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Organizational skills and sales ability.
  • Ability to multi‑task.
  • Excellent, professional communication skills.
  • High level of product knowledge.
  • Ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada.
