What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

• Develop and maintain reliable backend services and accessible user interfaces for onchain and offchain transactions
• Design and integrate distributed systems and microservices architecture with internal and third-party services
• Write high-quality, well-tested code to enhance customer experience and meet user needs
• Collaborate closely with designers and product managers to refine product offerings
• Contribute to the expansion of the Coinbase Onramp product, facilitating billions in transactions annually

What is Required (Qualifications):

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering
• Strong full-stack engineering skills with experience in backend services and user interface development
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for onchain/Web3 and familiarity with blockchain technologies, particularly Ethereum and EVM-compatible chains

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• Experience in a rapidly growing company transitioning from startup to mid-size
• Background in building applications on blockchain technology (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum)
