This role focuses on leading proof-of-concept projects that leverage AI tools to improve operational efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Ideally you will have 10+ years of software development experience with at least 2 years working hands-on with AI models like Claude, GPT, and Gemini, and will serve as both a technical leader and educator, helping SRE teams identify the right AI solutions for their use cases while documenting outcomes and mentoring colleagues. This is a senior individual contributor role that requires someone who can work autonomously, handle ambiguity pragmatically, and balance technical depth with clear communication across teams.

You

You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

• Hands on experience with Claude, Gemini, GPT, Hugging Face ecosystem.


• Proficiency in back-end technologies and programming languages and a deep understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.


• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms.

Compensation

This role pays between $95-100 per hour.
