The Opportunity

This role is ideal for someone who values performant and scalable code and enjoys solving real-world performance challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications within a microservice-based architecture.
  • Implement and maintain backend services, APIs, and relational database integrations.
  • Optimize applications for speed, performance, and reliability in high-traffic environments.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions, modernization initiatives, and cloud-based deployment strategies.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Support continuous improvement of development processes, coding standards, and best practices.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
What We Are Looking For
  • 7+ years of professional full-stack software development experience (or equivalent).
  • Experience with at least one object-oriented backend language and associated frameworks (Java/Spring preferred, but alternatives considered).
  • Hands-on experience working with relational databases.
  • Proven expertise in performance optimization and large-scale web application development.
  • Experience with modern design patterns, including microservice architecture.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
