Join Manulife Wealth & Asset Management as a Business Services Project Specialist.

Position Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct business analysis, gathering and documenting detailed business requirements and specifications.
  • Analyze information from multiple sources, resolving conflicts and transforming high-level information into actionable insights.
  • Design and implement test plans and test cases, evaluating outcomes to ensure effective implementation of business solutions.
  • Partner with departments such as Operations, Technology, Compensation, Finance, and third-party vendors to enhance processes and drive continuous improvements.
  • Offer insights and strategic recommendations to management for reengineering business processes to achieve greater efficiency.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication of business requirements to team members, including systems and management teams.
  • Produce comprehensive business reports that support informed decision-making and aid in project prioritization.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for improvement that align with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
Required Qualifications
  • Undergraduate Degree or Equivalent in related fields such as Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or similar.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with data analysis tools and software: at least 2 years of experience with advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data visualization) and familiarity with SQL for querying databases. Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is preferred.
  • Strong research and project management skills, including ability to manage timelines, allocate resources effectively, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, essential for facilitating cross-departmental collaboration and conveying complex information.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies like Six Sigma or Lean.
  • Familiarity with financial services industry operations and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong numeracy skills, with proficiency in data manipulation and reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in advanced data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong project management skills, including experience with agile methodologies.
  • Ability to provide effective project support, including creating Gantt charts and tracking action items.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across diverse teams.

Salary range is expected to be between

61,350.00 CAD - $102,250.00 CAD
