Overview
Kyndryl Canada is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a strategic digital health transformation initiative for a Provincial client based in New Brunswick. This full-time remote contract role requires monthly on-site visits and will focus on planning and executing complex business-healthcare modernization efforts.
Mandatory Requirements
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized institution or possess equivalent education and senior project management experience with CIS implementations
- Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in digital health planning, IT system planning, back-office structuring, total cost of ownership modeling, and operating model development for healthcare transformation
- Possess at least 5 years of experience in a leadership or high-level advisory role for a multi-site, multi-year health IT or large-scale business transformation project
Desired Skills and Attributes
Candidates should also demonstrate the following:
- Proven success managing complex, large-scale, multi-year health IT or business transformation projects, including development of operating models and options analyses
- Experience leading and planning healthcare administration initiatives, large CIS projects, and scalable provincial digital health assets
- Ability to engage executives, clinicians, technical subject matter experts, and administrators in large-scale transformation efforts, with strong facilitation and reporting skills
- Business and financial acumen, including experience with financial systems integration, budget oversight, total cost of ownership modeling, and value-for-money delivery
- Knowledge of PHIPPA and other government regulatory requirements, with the ability to ensure compliance across program workstreams
- Experience in business continuity planning, operational modeling, resilience strategies, and change management integration
- Preference will be given to candidates who are bilingual in English and French
Key Responsibilities
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading a two-phase approach: Strategy & Prioritization, followed by Detailed Planning & Execution
- Coordinating with clinical, technical, and administrative stakeholders to ensure alignment
- Managing interdependencies across six domains:
- Financial & Back Office System Integration
- Provincial Digital Asset Alignment & Optimization
- Privacy & Regulatory Compliance
- Business Intelligence (Analytics & Reporting)
- Business Continuity Planning
- New Operating Model Development
- Establishing governance structures, project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk management frameworks
- Applying project management rigor to ensure delivery meets organizational goals, compliance standards, and value-for-money principles
- Balancing steady-state operations with project-based execution
