Qualifications
  • Post-secondary degree in a technical, engineering, or related field.
  • 5–8+ years’ experience in naval shipbuilding or repair.
  • Lean/Six Sigma (Yellow/Green Belt) and PMP certification are assets.
  • Proficient in interpreting trade drawings and work breakdowns.
  • Skilled in Primavera P6 and MS Excel; Aveva or AutoCAD experience is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of naval repair methods, sequences, and ship construction terminology.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, team player, and self-starter.

Due to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
