Position Overview

Under the general direction of the Regional Pharmacy Manager the SENIOR PHARMACIST is responsible for: performing the duties of a Pharmacist; assisting the pharmacy management team with planning implementing organizing and supervising pharmacy activities; and performing other related duties as assigned.

Experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience as a practicing hospital pharmacist.
  • Two (2) years supervisory experience in a Hospital pharmacy preferred.
Education (Degree / Diploma / Certificate)
  • Bachelor of Science Pharmacy or equivalent entry-to-practice pharmacy degree is required.
  • Post-graduate education / training in a relevant field of study and / or completion of a Pharmacy Residency program is preferred.
Special Training
  • Demonstrated teaching precepting and mentoring skills.
Certification / Licensure / Registration
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in the province of Manitoba.

Physical Requirements
