The opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Manager for our People Consulting Services practice. In joining our team, you will gain valuable experiences and a wealth of knowledge by working across various capabilities, service offerings and industries. Working in multidisciplinary teams, you will bring diverse perspectives to every challenge.
Your key responsibilities
Project Delivery to External Clients:
- Accountable for leading small to large/complex programs, delivering the defined scope of work within quality standards, timelines, and budget.
- Delivers solutions across EY’s People Consulting offerings, including operating model design, organization design, change management, culture transformation, strategic workforce planning.
- Has advanced subject matter expertise in People consulting offerings and advises clients effectively.
- Brings broad experience and perspective to solve complex problems.
- Demonstrates growth mindset – consistently challenging the team/self to innovate.
- Has a comprehensive understanding of project financials and can lead project setup and manage project budget.
- Works to develop client relationships between EY and client organizations.
- Engaging, credible and comfortable presenting to senior leadership/executives.
Business Development:
- Experience with proposal writing for large multi-national organizations.
- Builds deep relationships and client understanding to proactively drive on-sell and expansion opportunities.
- Demonstrates commitment to service quality and partnership.
- Demonstrates BD accountability/mindset - actively developing business networks.
Practice Development:
- Displays a sense of ownership and accountability in managing and developing our People Consulting practice.
- Has deep expertise in technical competencies and invests time into growing that practice area.
- Plays an active role in service offering initiatives.
People Leadership and Teaming:
- Acts as an extension of the leadership team – invested in the practice and our people.
- Accountable for timely and honest feedback to team members.
- Shows up with influence and impact, respected by junior team members.
General:
- Flexibility and ability to travel.
- Experience managing staff on multiple projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
To qualify for the role you must have
- A degree and/or Master's degree with an emphasis in Business, Human Resources, Psychology.
- Approximately 8-10 years of related professional services/external consulting work experience.
- Experience in Change Management, Stakeholder Management, Communications, Organizational Design.

The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $120,000 to $216,000.
