Job description

Job Title: Senior Manager Sourcing
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 + Months

Daily Responsibilities
  • Forecasting, planning, and correctly assessing needs for goods and services to project stock levels, managing budgets and preparing reports
  • Liaising with suppliers and following up with suppliers concerning delivery times
  • Networking and negotiating with suppliers to ensure price adjustments and access to best costs. Research new suppliers
  • Management of the Request for Proposal (RFP) process including review of tenders
  • Follow market trends
Must Have Skills
  • 10-15 years of procurement sourcing experience, not purchasing experience (No flexibility for less)
  • Previous technology sourcing (5 years minimum experience)
  • Leads negotiations for complex deals with a total contract value $5 Million or more
  • Contract authoring and editing
  • Experience in leading and supporting cross functional stakeholder interactions/relationships
  • Post-secondary education in Finance, Related
  • Purchasing field or Procurement Designation
Nice to have skills
  • Nice to have: proven experience sourcing and negotiating deals with AI providers
  • Understanding of procurement law and/or regulations
  • Business and Financial Acumen
  • Strong Negotiation skills
  • Strong contract acumen
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Achieving financial targets (individual targets of $5MM savings, and team targets of $25MM)
