What is the opportunity?

We are looking for a Senior Manager who is interested in product strategy and product management to join the Business Deposit Accounts (BDA) and Business Debit Cards product team. The team is responsible to drive sustainable revenue growth across the portfolio of various BDA product types, while optimizing client experience through debit card enhancements. As BDA products are core to the banking relationships, the team is also accountable to partner with others to drive new client acquisition to attract new business clients to the bank.

This role provides a unique opportunity to dive into product strategy and product management across the BDA portfolio and Business Debit Cards portfolio.

What will you do?
  • Perform P&L portfolio analysis to assess performance of each product and identify key trends and insights to inform overall business performance.
  • Shape the product growth strategy for BDA product suite to evolve product offerings, which includes performing market / competitive research, evaluating product constructs, conducting client research, developing business case to quantify financial benefits, formulating executive-level recommendations on proposed changes to the product suite, developing an execution roadmap and leading execution from planning to launch.
  • Lead the analysis and define recommendations on various BDA and Business Debit Cards initiatives.
  • Collaborate with partners across the bank to lead the execution and implementation of various BDA and Business Debit Cards product strategies.
  • Perform product management activities including portfolio review and maintenance of related policies, legal agreements, marketing collaterals, etc.
  • Manage and address escalations and risks / issues on a timely basis by liaising with appropriate partners.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-Have:
  • Strategic thinking and structured problem solving, with a strong foundation of qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
  • Effective stakeholder management, with experience leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive self-starter with ability to dive into the details when necessary, while also able to elevate with big picture in mind.
  • Strong financial acumen, with advanced proficiency in business case development and portfolio performance analysis with Excel.
  • Advanced proficiency in developing refined executive-level presentations with PowerPoint.
  • Well organized with great attention to details.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to adapt to evolving priorities.
  • Undergraduate degree.
Nice-to-Have:
  • Product strategy, product design, and product launch experience.
  • Product management and P&L experience.
  • Commercial Banking knowledge.
  • Prior experience in management consulting, strategy or analytics roles.
  • MBA or equivalent.
