Venor is proud to partner with Shannex on their search for a Senior Manager, Enterprise Applications to join their Project Management and Software Solutions team in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

What You’ll Be Doing

As the Senior Manager, Enterprise Applications, this role is responsible for the architecture, performance, and ongoing evolution of a portfolio of enterprise applications supporting Shannex’s operations. Reporting within the Project Management and Software Solutions team, this leader will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure technology solutions are secure, reliable, and aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Owning the architecture, support, maintenance, deployment, and enhancement of a portfolio of enterprise applications and technology solutions, including platforms supporting digital customer and e-commerce experiences.
  • Providing leadership for ongoing digital and customer-facing application initiatives, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with evolving business needs.
  • Acting as Subject Matter Expert for interconnected enterprise applications.
  • Mentoring, leading, and supporting a team of System Analysts, fostering strong performance and collaboration.
  • Ensuring application availability, performance, and reliability, including timely resolution of user support requests.
  • Collaborating with business leaders and key stakeholders to plan, prioritize, and schedule application enhancements aligned with business, technology, and security strategies.
  • Establishing and tracking measurements of success for application portfolios and team performance, including adoption, data quality, compliance, and security.
  • Influencing and developing policies and procedures within the scope of the role to support operational excellence and continuous improvement.
About you

In addition to a strong commitment to collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement, the ideal candidate brings:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred; however, we will consider an equivalent combination of professional experience and education.
  • Established project management skills with experience leading the configuration and implementation of large-scale enterprise solutions (such as ERP, CRM, or complex integrated business applications).
  • Experience in a management or supervisory role leading a technical team through the full lifecycle of solution design, deployment, and support.
  • Expertise in business process analysis, requirements gathering, solution design and development, vendor management, enterprise application support (ERP), and a strong business understanding.
  • A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care.
  • Working proficiency in French would be considered an asset.
