Overview

Senior Liability Claims Examiner - Full Time (Anywhere in Canada)

International Programs Group (IPG) is an independent third-party claims administrator which provides claims services for Lloyd’s of London syndicates, domestic insurers, self-insured entities, or organizations with high deductibles or self-insured retention. We are seeking a Liability Examiner to join our team.

Attendance to the office is required at a minimum of 1 day per week and as needed for training, client meetings and team meetings.

Role Responsibilities
  • Act as an examiner for various Lloyds accounts which involves providing prompt, fair, quality claims service to clients.
  • Examine complex liability claims.
  • Direct Field Adjusters on assignment investigations.
  • Settle claims directly with claimants or their representatives.
  • Administer claims payments / settlements through trust accounts.
  • Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure client needs are met.
Qualifications & Experience

We are looking for individuals with a demonstrated and proven track record of performance. Licensing and experience are critical for handling significant examining tasks for a TPA. You should be technically strong, well-organized, and able to understand key issues and provide solid solutions. Motivation to do this work and excitement about the challenges of a rapidly growing organization are important.

  • Education with relevant post-secondary education is an asset
  • Completed CIP courses, or working towards CIP designation
  • Ability to hold an independent adjusting license
  • 7-10 years of experience delivering relevant claims adjusting and/or examining work
  • Exposure to the Lloyd’s market is an asset
  • Experience contributing to a high-performing team
  • Strong aptitude and ability to work with technology
  • Attention to detail and professional communication
