Job Title: Senior Equipment Technician (1st shift)

Company: Trinity Heads, Inc.

Location: Navasota, Texas

Trinity Heads, Inc. is seeking a Senior Equipment Technician (1st shift) to perform maintenance tasks in our Navasota, Texas facility. The role involves diagnosing and repairing issues in plumbing, electrical systems/components, HVAC, carpentry, electrical fixtures/switches/power sources, and mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform complex repairs on production equipment motors and mechanical components, including basic pneumatics and hydraulics.
  2. Troubleshoot electrical problems up to 480V, and perform preventative maintenance and testing on electrical wiring and components.
  3. Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components of production equipment.
  4. Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electronic components of industrial machinery, following electrical codes, manuals, schematics, and blueprints, using appropriate test equipment.
  5. Lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electronic components, parts, and switch panels.
  6. Test new equipment, troubleshoot operation, and make minor adjustments as needed.
  7. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  8. Adhere to all safety rules and practices; participate in safety committees or initiatives if involved.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Knowledge and Experience:
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of related experience; hydraulics or furnace specialty experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read equipment drawings and electrical & hydraulics schematics.
  • Ability to work at heights (above ground 15 ft. or more).
  • Comfortable climbing ladders or stairs.
  • May require working in narrow or confined spaces for extended periods.
