Responsibilities
  • Develop 3D models for ship design including structure and marine distributive systems.
  • Develop production drawings of ships mechanical systems and compartment arrangements, or the ability to detail ship\'s structure.
  • Provide design discipline expertise and can review functional engineering packages to ensure production design requirements are met.
  • Understand quality control systems and be able to demonstrate adherence to such systems.
  • Meet project deliverables, deadlines and budget as directed by managers and leads.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement (support initiatives and generate new ideas).
  • Provide technical advice and knowledge and act as a subject matter expert.
  • Interact with customers and clients to determine needs and follow assigned projects through from client meeting to design and production.

  • Experience in developing 3D models for ship design, production drawings of mechanical systems, and compartment arrangements or detailing ship\'s structure.
  • Ability to review and ensure conformance with quality control systems.

  • Willingness to contribute to continuous improvement and provide technical guidance to the team.
  • Effective interaction with customers and clients from initial meeting to design and production.
