Job Requirements:

Responsibilities:

• Develop designs based on client specifications and ensure project requirements are met.
• Create, review, and approve detailed design, shop, and production drawings using CAD software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers and technical staff, to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
• Perform structural calculations and analysis to validate designs.
• Provide technical input during the proposal and estimation phases.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in custom equipment design, such as construction machinery or bulk material handling systems.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD 2D, and MS Office.
• Strong understanding of welding symbols, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.
• Familiarity with structural calculations and codes (e.g., ANSI/AISC 360, CSA-16).
• Ability to integrate mechanical, electro-mechanical, and hydraulic systems is an asset.
• Authorization to work in Canada and ability to travel throughout North America.
