Overview

We’re Hiring: Senior Data Scientist (GenAI/LLMs)

Remote | 40 hrs/week | Contract | EST hours

As a Senior Data Scientist on our GenAI Applications Team, you’ll design and deploy cutting-edge NLP and LLM-powered solutions — from conversational search and chatbots to summarization engines, recommender systems, and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Architect frameworks for scalable GenAI products
• Optimize and productionize LLM-based applications
• Establish fairness, transparency, and safety protocols for AI systems
• Build and oversee high-quality datasets and ML pipelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (PMs, Engineers, Cloud teams)
• Mentor and lead junior data scientists in GenAI methods
• Set the technical vision and drive innovation in LLM applications

What we’re looking for / Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field (Math, CS, Physics, Statistics, etc.)
• 3+ years building ML/NLP models, 5+ years with Python
• Hands-on with PyTorch/TensorFlow, LLMs (BERT, GPT, etc.)
• Skilled in LangChain, RAG, dynamic prompting, fine-tuning (PEFT/SFT)
• Experience with AI guardrails, bias detection & mitigation
• Proficient with AWS and deploying end-to-end ML applications
• Strong knowledge of transformers, embeddings, and self-attention mechanisms
