A leading consulting firm in Toronto is seeking a Senior Consultant in Data, Analytics and Automation. You will support the design and implementation of data architecture with a focus on Databricks and drive data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities include developing scalable data models and pipelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and optimizing data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a university degree and 2+ years of relevant experience in business intelligence and data management.

As a Senior Consultant in Data, Analytics and Automation, you will be a part of our Technology Consulting (Data, Analytics and Automation) practice within KPMG. This is a worldwide network of professionals who collaborate on a daily basis to create value from data. Enterprise Data Management integrates and is the connecting link with other data focused advisory services including Business Intelligence, Advanced Analytics, Digital Transformation, Enterprise Solutions and Data Security.
We collaborate across service offerings on data driven solutions. And that is why Forrester Research has recently recognized KPMG as one of the most prominent advisory firms in Data & Analytics!
The successful candidate will take part in various business intelligence and data engineering mandates using Databricks technology, which could involve assessing current practices, as well as developing a business intelligence and data engineering strategy, roadmaps, dashboards and performance indicators, devising and validating data models, and analyzing data to support timely decision-making, etc.
This role is for a Databricks Data Specialist with strong experience in design/data modeling/development & performance tuning.
