Overview
Infosys is seeking a Sr SAP IBP & PPDS Consultant
The position requires an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
Responsibilities
- Involves development, configuration and deployment of the overall SAP IBP/PPDS solution and guidance to teams on project processes and deliverables.
- Contributes to proposal development, client training and internal capability building; helps detail the project scope.
- Interact with clients to understand requirements and provide value-adding consulting solutions aligned to global needs.
Qualifications
- Location: Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Ontario / Calgary, Alberta or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

Required Skills
- Domain: IBP; Integration with other SAP modules: PPDS, Manufacturing
- Extensive experience with SAP IBP Demand planning, supply planning and integration with CPI
- Hands-on experience in Master data, Planning Area, Planning Views
- Experience in Baseline forecasting, Forecast Model creation and assignment, Lifecycle planning, NPI, Forecast consumption, Shelf-life planning
- Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to end customers
- Perform configuration, support and testing activities; capable of handling workflow configuration
- Experience in working WRICEF design documentation
- Troubleshoot issues raised by end users and work independently with customer ticket resolution
- Assess current IBP enhancements and document required changes in Functional/Technical specifications; work on change requests as needed
- Perform functional unit testing in development and quality environments for assigned change requests
- Hands-on experience with minor and major enhancements/changes
- Self-motivated; able to drive discussions with cross-team members to gather requirements and provide solutions
- Analytical and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 5 life cycle implementation experience on any module of SAP IBP (e.g., Demand, Supply & Response, Inventory and S&OP)
- If only SAP IBP support experience, minimum 3 years of SAP IBP support experience
- Total Supply Chain Management experience of minimum 7 years
- Minimum 2 life cycle implementation experience on SAP APO PPDS or S4 e-PPDS
- If only PPDS/e-PPDS support experience, minimum 3 years required
- Experience on other SAP APO modules (DP, SNP) or any SAP IBP module is an added advantage
- Good communication skills to conduct design workshops and training sessions
- Willing to travel to client location for important workshops and training sessions
