Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating a range of styles, creativity and craftsmanship.
• Keen eye for anatomy, design, color theory, composition and FX.
• Experience in a Senior Concept Artist role on at least one AAA game.
• Effective communicator and problem solver in high-pressure production.
• Understanding of video game art disciplines and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Support and supervise creative content from outsource partners.
• Ensure art generated meets Epic’s high standards.
• Create concept designs for environments, characters, and FX.
• Collect documentation and video references for external vendors.
• Communicate feedback to outsource partners to ensure goals are met.
• Partner with internal art staff to respect limitations from other disciplines.
