Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of Commercial Auto underwriting experience.
  • CIP designation (completed or in progress) preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative.
  • Comfortable working independently and in a hybrid team environment.
  • Proficient with standard business software.
  • Able to manage deadlines and perform well under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate risk for new and existing business.
  • Assist and mentor junior underwriters.
  • Analyze reports for exposure and loss rating.
  • Negotiate renewal terms.
  • Respond to inquiries from brokers.
