Overview

As the Senior Client Service Manager of Trade Finance you will provide ongoing customer support for Global Trade and Receivables Finance (GTRF) solutions. In this role, you will work across various customer segments including Global Banking and Markets, Commercial Banking and Private Banking to deliver consistent, high-quality support to ensure an excellent client experience.

Responsibilities
  • Primary point of contact for our clients for ongoing day-to-day product, transactional and operational support
  • Deliver a differentiated client experience through efficient, effective and transparent operations processes and activities
  • Proactively identify problems and take ownership to resolve and/or escalate with a sense of urgency, communicating to appropriate management and team members to mitigate client, operational and fraud risk
  • Liaise with internal teams and/or product partners to ensure the highest standard of service is delivered to clients and relationships teams
  • Maintain an awareness of the impact of new initiatives and re-engineered processes on their respective client relationships and ensure effective communication of change
  • Follow all internal controls and relevant compliance requirements and closely monitor associated risks
  • Regularly review processes and procedures to make recommendations to streamline workflow and share best practices across the function
What you need to succeed

Must-have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in trade finance/operations
  • Good understanding of operational risk related to the underlying trade transactions, trade finance, receivables finance
  • Demonstrated client service experience
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills including advanced Excel skills for analysis/reporting
  • Self-motivated and solutions-oriented, with ability to work independently and within team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly serve our clients with English and French-speaking needs.

Nice to have:

  • Experience supporting commercial and corporate clients
  • Bachelors degree in business or related area
