Overview

An exciting development opportunity has arisen to lead our fantastic team within ward 6 Queen Margaret Hospital Dunfermline. Ward 6 has 22 inpatient beds. We provide ongoing Assessment and Rehabilitation for our older population. As part of the multidisciplinary team the post holder will contribute to the delivery of rehabilitative care to support and manage patients through their rehabilitation journey towards discharge planning. We are looking for a highly motivated, caring and hard-working Registered Nurse to become the Senior Charge Nurse and part of a multidisciplinary team.

The candidate must lead and contribute to the maintenance of clinical standards. You must demonstrate that you are able to provide clinical leadership and expert advice to the Nursing team, through support, development, supervision and education. Must be able to work collaboratively with all Health and social care partners to deliver against national standards and drive person centred care.

This post requires experience in an elderly or medical setting and the relevant knowledge and skills to lead, motivate and develop staff within the service. A high level of interpersonal, communication and organisational skills are essential. You must be able to demonstrable evidence of your professional development and be able to provide positive examples.

  • PVG Scheme membership is a requirement prior to appointment.
