• Automation Impact: At least 25% of routine finance processes automated or streamlined (billing, AR reporting, reconciliations).
• Data Quality: Establish robust, governed data pipelines for core finance datasets (billing, AR / AP, reconciliations, close).
• Stakeholder Adoption: Deliver SOPs, dashboards, and training that drive adoption across Finance Operations.
• KPI Reporting: Build and maintain dashboards for Finance VPs / Directors covering cycle times, AR aging, reconciliations, exception reporting.
• Continuous Improvement: Embed automation & analytics into the culture of Finance Operations.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to simplify and automate Finance Operations processes (billing, AR / AP, reconciliations, reporting).
• Build and manage data pipelines (SQL / SnowSQL, Snowflake) and structured datasets for analytics.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs in Power BI; design exception reports and automated workflows.
• Lead automation projects using Alteryx, Power Automate, Power BI, and RPA tools (in partnership with IT).
• Create SOPs, training materials, and run workshops to drive adoption of new tools / processes.
• Partner with Finance leaders (Directors, VPs) to plan projects, communicate results, and ensure alignment to strategy.
• Support change management — rollout strategies, stakeholder engagement, governance frameworks.
• Monitor data quality, troubleshoot issues, and ensure finance data is “analytics ready.”

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related.
• 3+ years in finance automation, process improvement, or consulting.
• Hands-on with SQL / SnowSQL, Power BI, Alteryx, Power Automate (Smartsheet a plus).
• Strong communicator who can translate technical solutions into plain English.
• Experience writing SOPs and leading training sessions.

Nice-to-Have

• Big 4 experience from consulting or advisory
• Exposure to SAP S4 / HANA, OneStream, or similar ERP / consolidation systems.
• Python, VBA, or other scripting experience.
