We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Senior Business Analyst to lead data-driven initiatives, enhance reporting capabilities, and drive process improvements across multiple teams and projects. This role will work closely with product, development, and quality teams to ensure data needs are met, processes are optimized, and insights are translated into actionable outcomes.
The ideal candidate will be skilled at bridging the gap between business and technical stakeholders, with proven expertise in data governance, advanced analytics, and cross-functional collaboration.
Lead the setup of new projects by identifying critical data requirements and defining how analytics can best support key deliverables and targets.
Support new team onboarding by establishing their data ecosystem, addressing technical dependencies, and integrating with reporting infrastructure.
Organize and lead discovery sessions with development and quality stakeholders to identify business questions that analytics can answer.
Define and implement experiments and machine learning models to reduce crashes, predict bugs, and enhance bug detection efficiency.
Explore Natural Language Processing (NLP) use cases for the entire production cycle.
Partner with the Data Platform team to establish foundational data governance and quality standards.
Define and implement baseline requirements to ensure data reliability and consistency across systems.
Implement evergreen processes for Power BI reports to reduce maintenance overhead.
Evaluate ongoing reporting efforts, reinvesting resources into projects with clear ROI and measurable impact.
Lead efforts to unify development metrics across teams, ensuring standardization and alignment on KPIs.
Partner with producers, developers, and engineers to resolve technical API dependencies impacting key reports.
Collaborate with international teams on knowledge-sharing sessions to align best practices in BI tools, processes, and infrastructure.
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$91,100 - $126,900 CAD
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full‑time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
