Position Overview
CRA’s Forensic Services supports companies' integrity by helping respond to allegations of fraud, misconduct, and non-compliance. We deploy cross-trained forensic teams to deliver insights efficiently, offering accounting, forensic, and cybercrime investigation services.

The Senior Associate role involves:

  1. Executing security and privacy investigations, including breach detection, threat analysis, incident response, and malware analysis;
  2. Performing forensic analysis of digital information with standard techniques and tools;
  3. Enhancing incident response capabilities by evaluating and implementing new tools and processes;
  4. Building relationships with law enforcement agencies for criminal matters;
  5. Preparing client communications and managing project risks with quality control;
  6. Participating in recruiting, team morale, and professional development of junior staff;
  7. Supporting engagement planning, analysis, and supervision;
  8. Providing cybersecurity assessments aligned with frameworks like NIST, HIPAA, ISO 27001, SOC2, NERC-CIP;
  9. Interfacing with clients and supporting business development efforts.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field;
  • 5-7 years’ experience in cyber intrusion investigation or incident response;
  • Strong project prioritization skills;
  • Hands-on technical expertise in incident response, network forensics, or malware analysis;
  • Experience with data analytics and best practices;
  • Knowledge of hardware, OS, networks, email systems, mobile devices, and security;
  • Deep understanding of networking, operating systems, and web technologies.
