Job summary

A leading staffing agency is seeking a Senior Analyst in Corporate Accounting for a hybrid role based in Greater Montreal. The position involves preparing financial statements, conducting management reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies. Candidates should have a degree in accounting or finance, CPA certification is a strong advantage, and at least three years of relevant experience. Strong communication skills in both French and English are essential. This role offers a competitive salary up to CAD 100K depending on experience.

Senior Analyst, Corporate Accounting

Location: Greater Montreal (Hybrid). Salary: Up to 100K depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, cash flows and associated notes, account analysis, reconciliations, budgets and internal control maintenance.
  • Preparation of Management Reporting including analysis on financial results/budgets, performance metrics, and benchmarks.
  • Dealing with year end audits including preparation of relevant files and resolving issues.
  • Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions.
  • Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, control and provide support on special requests when necessary.
  • Ad-hoc projects.
  • All other related tasks.
Qualifications
  • Degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • CPA certification or equivalent, a major asset.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Be bilingual (French and English) and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
