We are looking for a motivated Information Risk and Compliance Analyst to join the dynamic Value Management Risk and Governance team within OMERS Data and Technology.
Reporting to the Manager, AI, Information Risk and Compliance, in this role you will:
To be successful in this role, you will develop and nurture strong relationships with key governance partners (including Technology Teams, Risk, Privacy, Cybersecurity, Internal Audit, Compliance, Legal) and OMERS business units to identify applicable laws, regulations and industry standards governing the handling of records, data and AI. You will also assist with the development, implementation and maintenance of key processes and controls for complying with those requirements, such as data classification, protection, retention and disposition processes. In doing so, you will directly strengthen our compliance practices, manage risks to our organization and help optimize the ability of data to support a diverse array of global business functions.
