Overview

Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Canadian public accounting firm
  • Completion of a university degree
  • CPA designation preferred but not required
  • Solid knowledge of ASPE
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications and Caseware / Caseview software
  • Flexibility to meet fluctuating workload demands, including overtime during tax season
Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of audit, review, and compilation engagements, including financial statements and corporate tax returns
  • Preparation of personal tax returns
  • Training and mentoring junior staff
  • Assisting senior management with complex tax matters and special projects
  • Managing client relationships, including handling inquiries and supporting clients with various issues
  • Conducting research on corporate tax, personal tax, HST, and other related matters
Compensation

Salary range: $75,000 – $97,864 per year
