Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant oversees the financial and accounting practices within the company. Responsibilities include generating and analyzing financial reports, assigning accounting tasks to team members, reconciling financial statements and ensuring the efficient operation of the finance or accounting department.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
  • Perform account reconciliations and account analysis.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Provide financial analysis and support to management.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve financial processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
  • Utilize accounting software.
  • Maintain full set of books of multiple companies, including posting of journal entries, invoicing, cash receipt/disbursement and recording purchases.
  • Responsible for various balance sheet account reconciliation.
  • Back up payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and receptionist.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned by management.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience and 5+ years of experience for a major auto parts manufacturing company.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with CPA or other accounting designations.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
