Our client, a respected and growing commercial insurance brokerage, is seeking aSenior Account Administrator to support their Broking Services & Account Administration team. This role works closely with Account Executives and the broking team to support the placement, renewal, and servicing of commercial insurance accounts in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparing submissions and marketing commercial accounts
  • Support renewal and quoting processes; bind coverage with underwriters
  • Prepare proposals, certificates, endorsements, invoices, and financing agreements
  • Follow up with clients and insurers on outstanding information
  • Maintain accurate client files, expiry lists, and documentation
  • Review policies against binders/quotes for accuracy
  • Support claims reporting and client communication
  • Work with accounting on receivables and reconciliation issues
  • Handle SOVs, equipment schedules, and policy documentation
  • Provide backup support to team members during absences
  • Deliver strong internal and external customer service and communication

Qualifications

  • Minimum 12 months of insurance experience
  • Level 1 General Insurance license (or equivalent with ability to obtain BC license)
  • Commitment to obtaining Level 2 within 6–12 months
  • Experience with commercial insurance (CGL, property, equipment breakdown)
  • Strong understanding of certificates of insurance, SOVs, invoicing, and policy checking
  • Familiarity with MGAs, Lloyd’s, and specialty markets is considered an asset
  • EPIC broker management system experience is an asset
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong teamwork mindset with a proactive and professional approach
