Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of security procedures and protocols.
• Valid SIA license and/or relevant certifications (CCTV, First Aid, Fire Safety, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent intrusion.
• Monitor surveillance systems and alarms.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter security concerns.
• Respond to emergency situations.
• Write detailed incident reports.
• Collaborate with security personnel and law enforcement.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Skills

Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role

Strong knowledge of security procedures and protocols

Valid SIA license and/or relevant certifications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to remain calm and handle stressful situations

Attention to detail and a high level of observation

Strong problem-solving skills
