Toyotetsu Canada is a manufacturing facility located at 88 Park Rd, Simcoe, Ontario, specializing in automotive metal components. The site includes production areas, warehouses, offices, and secured access points. Security staff are responsible for protecting personnel, property, and assets, monitoring site activity, controlling access, and responding to incidents in a professional manufacturing environment.

Position Details

Part Time Security Guard
Site: Toyotetsu Canada, 88 Park Rd, Simcoe, ON N3Y 4K6
Hours: Sat & Sun (1900-0700 hrs)
Pay Rate: $19.06/hr.
Averaging Agreement: Overtime is Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours

Essential Job Functions
  • Working on assigned shifts, you will provide proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents.
  • You will be required to write reports and investigate routine incidents, as well as respond to emergencies in a quick and efficient manner.
  • Be courteous and cooperative with a high quality of customer service.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures.
  • Able to maintain a professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances and people under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
  • Write clear, concise, and legible reports.
  • Communicates any concerns/issues with Operations Manager.
Requirements
  • Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
  • Valid First Aid & CPR Level C from a WSIB approved provider
  • English (oral and written) fluency is a must
  • Must have one year experience in healthcare security, or law enforcement
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Degree in Police Foundations, Protection Security and Investigations, Criminology, or Border Services will be an asset
  • Ability to walk/climb stairs throughout the premises for longer periods of time
  • Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)
  • Applicants who do not possess these certifications can opt into Paladin's Use of Force (UOF)/Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position

Please be aware: The UOF/MOAB certification is not paid as it is a pre-employment requisite; however, Paladin will cover all the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability
