Abbotsford Christian School, located in the Fraser Valley, is a well-established interdenominational school of 1200 students in three campuses: Elementary (preschool – grade 4), Middle (5-8), and Secondary (9-12).

SECONDARY HUMANITIES/ENGLISH TEACHER

Abbotsford Christian School is currently accepting applications for a 1.0 FTE SECONDARY HUMANITIES/ENGLISH TEACHER beginning September 1, 2026.

This position is primarily focused on teaching English. Depending on the applicant’s experience and qualifications, the teaching load may be adjusted for the 2026-2027 school year. Our current staff is highly skilled and adaptable and due to retirements, we are looking for the right candidate to complement our team. Candidates must be able to demonstrate an exemplary ability to build strong relationships with students in a discipling capacity. Preferred qualifications include:
  • BC Teaching certificate
  • Clear understanding of Christian education

  • Extracurricular experience is an asset

The salary range for this position is $58,710 – $103,796, depending on an applicant’s qualifications and experience.
