Responsibilities
- Help our customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products. Provide tax guidance and review personal tax returns for customers who complete their tax return on their own, perform full service return preparation, and manage product/software inquiries.
- Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to seek out and deliver the right answer to the customer in terms they will understand.
- Work in a virtual, customer-facing role using state-of-the-art video communication software to interact with customers and document interactions to maintain accurate records.
- As a Tax Expert, have a minimum of two (2) years of paid professional tax preparation experience.
- Provide your CRA RepID (representative identifier) to enable use of the CRA Represent a Client service upon onboarding.
- Experience using professional tax software to prepare and file personal tax returns, including complex elements such as employment, self-employment, rental income, investments, form T1135, foreign income, and various credits and deductions.
- Be passionate about helping clients navigate tax complexities and committed to enhancing the brand by delighting customers and empowering them to prepare their taxes.
- Possess excellent customer service skills and be comfortable interacting with customers via video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner.
- Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule with a minimum of 20 hours per week.
- Proficiency in English and French is required. As a bilingual Seasonal Tax Expert (French), you will prepare tax returns and provide real-time guidance on a range of tax matters to English- and French-speaking clients across Canada. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of paid professional tax preparation experience.
- Experience preparing corporate tax returns (T2).
- Experience preparing Quebec tax returns (TP1).

Compensation
Intuit offers a competitive compensation package based on performance. The base pay range for this position is:
- PEI: $24.50/hour – $33.50/hour
- BC: $24.50/hour – $33.50/hour
- Nova Scotia: $24.50/hour – $33.50/hour
Additionally, the position may be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits in accordance with applicable plans and programs. Pay is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Intuit conducts regular pay equity comparisons across ethnicity and gender.
