The School of Aviation at Seneca Polytechnic delivers the best of Canadian aviation education across our two campuses Newnham and Peterborough Campus. The School was founded in 1968 with the flight program and has since evolved to include training in aviation operations, safety, flight attendant and cabin management training. Since launching our flight program, we’ve grown to offer a full spectrum of aviation training, for over 700 students including

Our hands-on and career-focused programs feature advanced flight planning tools, a state-of-the-art aircraft and simulator fleet, and full-scale A320 and B737 cabin trainers. We prepare students to thrive in real-world aviation careers—and we’re looking for experienced professionals to help lead the way.

If you're a licensed aviation professional with real-world experience and a passion for mentorship, if you believe in the power of hands-on learning and are driven to help the next generation of aviation talent soar, both in the skies and in their careers — then we want to hear from you.
You likely bring many of the following qualifications and skills
- A Commercial or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)
- Category 1 Aviation Medical
- Class 4 or higher Flight Instructor Rating
- A Group 1 or 3 Instrument Rating
- Experience in Integrated CPL or ATPL training
- A background in multi-crew or SOP-based operations
Bonus Experience in simulator instruction, flight line leadership, or teaching at the post-secondary level.
