Oxford Consulting Services is looking for a certified, and patient first mentality Occupational Therapist to provide K-12 school-based services. Providers will work one on one with students, as well as other staff members and disciplines to provide customized programs and intervention to meet each student’s goals and needs. The ideal candidate will utilize a holistic approach, and will be able to adapt the environment to the client to best ensure client progress.

Job Responsibilities
  • K - 12 caseload
  • Address client’s progress and engagement in occupations that affect client’s health, well-being and living quality
  • Determine and implement the client’s treatment methodology, as well as guidance in interventions
  • Perform therapeutic services to clients with autism spectrum disorder and sensory needs.
  • Planning, engagement, and implementation of IEPs
  • Educate clients on better practices of approaching tasks and provide mentorship on how to work towards small goals.
  • Provide proper care and instruction to family members and caregivers
  • Oversight, data collection and correction on client progress towards long- and short-term treatment markers
  • Prepare progress reports
  • Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)
Requirements
  • New Jersey Occupational Therapy (OT) license
  • NJ School Certification
  • Pediatric Experience
  • Strong Clinical & Interpersonal Skills
  • MS degree or greater in Occupational Therapy
  • 2 years working experience as an Occupational Therapist
  • 1 year of school-based or clinical experience; children ages 3-18
  • Experience in IEP services and assessments preferred
